See nature’s finest at Ka’eleku Cavern, home to The Chocolate Corridor formations, reminiscent of chocolate lovers’ favorite dark treat. Breathe in the scent of fresh earth as you explore stunning rock formations deep within the cavern formed by a once-active volcano. Stop to photograph lava stalactites, stalagmites, and unique flowstones created by natural, geologic wonders. To understand the true essence of a real cave, wait for the cue to turn off your flashlight and experience 60 seconds of total darkness. But no worries, the cavern proves friendly for the squeamish—no bats or mosquitoes here!

Then, travel to one of Hana’s famous black-sand beaches where sinking your toes in the sand never felt so good.  Enjoy a relaxing swim before working on your tan while eating a hearty lunch on the pristine shore.
