Tour one of the most important events in history—an exploration of the sights accompanied with the oration of your expert guide. Retrace the pivotal moments that lead up to World War II and visit the site where a signed treaty marked the end of the war.
Details
Board the USS Arizona in a somber tribute to the 1,177 soldiers who lost their lives there. Pay homage at Punchbowl National Memorial. Walk over the Wheeler Army Airfield, a primary target of the attacks on Pearl Harbor, but also the site where a few pilots managed to launch into the air to lead a counter attack.
Listen to the live radio broadcasts that aired on the day of the attack, and hear Franklin D. Roosevelt's Declaration of War.
Other highlights of the tour include: visits to Battleship Row, Ford Island, Fort Shafter, and Schofield Army Barracks; stops at the Home of the Brave Headquarters Museum and Shop and the Pearl Harbor Visitor’s Center and Museum.
Veterans and their family members are encouraged to share their personal reflections, during this tribute to life, to heroism and perseverance.
