Prepare your taste buds for an exciting journey through the process of making a favorite sugary treat: chocolate. This 3-hour guided tour brings about insight on chocolate production, from cacao branches to the finished delicacy.
You'll work up an appetite strolling through winding groves of rare black bamboo and tropical flowers before sampling fresh fruit that’s in season. After your palate has awakened a bit, head on over to the chocolate orchard, home to trees at all stages of growth where your nose will take it the scent of “chocolate” trees. Before sending your mouth to heaven and back, watch a demonstration on the cacao process before participating in tasting a variety of chocolates. Close your eyes and let the morsels dissolve on your tongue as you go around the world via these foreign and domestic sweet treats. This includes delicacies from Republica Del Cacao from Ecuador, Hawaii’s Original Hawaiian Chocolate Factory, and even mainland American-produced chocolate like Ghirardelli.
