See the terraced cliffs of the Grand Canyon’s West Rim as the Colorado River flows almost 4,000 feet below. This day tour of dramatic scenery includes a drive through the 900-year old Joshua Tree Forest, a photo stop at the Hoover Dam, and sightseeing of the beautiful desert landscape, home of the Hualapai Indian tribe
Details
Make your way by motorcoach to the Hualapai Indian Reservation where you’ll take a leisurely walk along the Grand Canyon’s West Rim. The tribe believes an image of the Great Thunderbird was carved into the cliff by Mother Nature – see the amazing scenery for yourself.
After enjoying a BBQ lunch, you’ll make a brief photo stop at Hoover Dam, then drive through Joshua Tree Forest, which surrounds much of the high desert country. You’ll also have the opportunity to try the Skywalk, the first-ever glass walkway to suspend more than 4,000 feet above the canyon’s floor and 70 feet from the canyon’s rim (the Skywalk is optional and requires an additional fee).
It’s a full day of dramatic sightseeing that you won’t soon forget.
