Delve into the intriguing history of military flight at the Pacific Aviation Museum, which presents classic American and Japanese airplanes. See the Japanese Zero fighter and its adversary, the American Grumman F4F Wildcat. Peruse artifacts concerning the internment of Japanese Americans, view historic footage of the attack on Pearl Harbor and informative re-enactments that allow you to experience the sights, sounds and exhilaration of the first days of the war. The museum is located on Ford Island, at the center of Pearl Harbor attack and home of the battleship moorings that were the target of the 1941 attack on the harbor. See the sunken USS Arizona from the floating memorial resting on the waters above. Watch a film on about the attack on the battleship moorings in the harbor, and drive through the Punchbowl National Cemetery, learning of the history and people of the armed forces in Hawaii.

There is no lunch stop on this tour, but limited snackbars are available at Pearl Harbor. Shirt and shoes required to board the Arizona Memorial. Swimsuits are not permitted. The US Department of the Interior has instituted strict security measures at the Arizona Memorial. No purses, handbags, fanny packs, backpacks, camera bags, diaper bags, luggage or other items that offer concealment are allowed in the Visitor Center or on the Memorial. Strollers with pockets and compartments must be empty before being allowed in the Visitor Center. Personal cameras are allowed. Do not leave valuables on the bus. A private vendor at Pearl Harbor provides "bag storage" for a small fee.
