Have an unforgettable horseback experience on a 2,500 acre (1,012 hectare) working cattle ranch. Your guides share local history, culture, and horsemanship as you ride trail horses and bask in the sun of Kauais North Shore.

Cross ranch pastures with panoramic views of mountains and the ocean. Find yourself riding through herds of cows, calves and horses along the way. Tie up your horse, and venture down a steep trail with steps and handholds, through a tropical forest with views of a lush valley and sounds of cascading falls. Be awed by the power of an 80 foot (25 meter) waterfall and the peaceful surrounding forest. Take a refreshing dip in the waterfall pool, where you can explore the views on ledges behind the falls or simply float to your heart's content. Savor the flavors of a freshly self-made picnic lunch. Afterward, if conditions permit, return to your horse via a different hiking trail, complete with a crossing atop the falls, a short rock climb and yet another scenic waterfall setting perfect for one more photograph.

  Note

  Closed toe shoes are required and long pants are recommended. Guests are encouraged to wear a bathing suit under their clothes. All rides are scenic walking rides and are suitable for the first time rider and the experienced horse person. Children under age 8 are not allowed. Children under age 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Children under age 18 must have written consent from a parent. Maximum weight is 230 pounds (104 kilograms).
