It’s all downhill from there once you push the pedal to the metal and begin your descent down from 3,600 feet (1,097 m). Look ahead to the winding roads that lead you along the canyon’s edge where drop-offs form valleys ranging from deep greens to brilliant oranges. Stops along the way will offer picturesque views of dramatic canyon cliffs and the sparkling waters of the Pacific Ocean. Guides will offer knowledge about the area and recount fascinating legends passed down over the years among Hawaiians.
