Your Hawaii zip line tour high up in the trees takes about three hours, ending with an exciting rappel from the final tree. Zipping from tree to tree on 9 lines ranging from 110 feet to the longest and fastest line at 1150 feet, you will fly past the plants of Hawaii, native kukui trees and fragrant gingers, blossoming ohia shrubs and magnificent eucalyptus. Below you stretch remnants of old taro terraces, which once formed the agricultural foundation of Hawaiian society, when King Kamehameha, the chief who united the Islands under one reign, controlled this land. You may also catch signs of the Kohala Ditch, an irrigation canal completed in 1906 to provide water for the sugar plantations that formerly surrounded Kohala’s main towns, Hawi and Kapaau.

Must wear closed toes shoes, lightweight pants, capris or knee lenght shorts, and a light sweatshrit or overshirt are recommended.

Participant restrictions

Must weight between 70 and 265 lbs. Participants will be weighed at check in. Must be able to walk over unpaved terrain and handle a short climb. This tour is not for those with back or neck problems, and extreme fear of heights or expectant mothters.
