A wonderful way to spend an evening on the Big Island, the Island Breeze Luau is filled with aloha style and local'ohana (love and family). Head to the historic grounds of the Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort and Spa where a lei greeting and picture taking begins your evening experience of tradition and culture. This family-friendly luau begins with arts and crafts demonstrations where you can learn how to weave coconut fronds, the trick to opening coconuts, and have an artist draw a Polynesian tattoo.
Delicious mai tais and an open bar (including fruit punch for the kids) are on hand to enjoy with your dinner prepared ceremoniously in theimu (traditional underground oven). Your evening continues with Fijian and Maori dances of war, graceful Hawaiian hula, and a shop-stopping Samoan fire and knife dance with its astonishing demonstration of bravery and skill.
