Waterfall and Rainforest Hike

1 2

Forge into the lush Maui wilderness, where freshwater streams and clear waterfalls are just waiting to cool you off during your half-day tropical trek—complete with lunch—through the rainforest jungle.

Along Maui's famous Hana Highway sits a popular rainforest valley paradise known for its several waterfalls, all within close proximity. Seek out these refreshing cascades during a 2.5-mile (4 km) morning hike that travels through the island bamboo to a total of 5 waterfalls, some up to 40 feet (12 m) high. A truly lively island journey, the tinkling of millions of water droplets is unmistakable as you approach each tumbling current. If you're an adventurous spirit, leap from a rock cliff or swing on a rope into the waterfall pools. Or, opt for the slightly tamer yet equally invigorating experience of a simple swim in the crisp water below the falls, as this outing aims to quench a full variety of thirsts for a memorable Hawaiian waterfall excursion.
