Hawaii’s number one attraction, the USS Arizona Memorial, will be your first stop on this memorable tour of Oahu. At the Visitor Center, watch a film about the attack on Pearl Harbor before viewing artifacts from that fateful day. Board a Navy launch and skim across the waters to park beside the USS Arizona Memorial, a floating memorial dedicated to the final resting place of more than 1,000 sailors.
To lift your spirits for the rest of the day, a bus will be waiting to offer a spin around the island of Oahu. Ready your camera at Nuuanu Pali Lookout, where breathtaking views of the sheer Koolau cliffs and Windward Coast will amaze even the most seasoned traveler. Peace and quiet await at the Byodo-In Temple, a non-practicing Buddhist temple set amidst a picturesque mountain backdrop. Crashing waves and swaying coconut trees at the famed North Shore will fulfill your desire to relax on the beautiful beaches of Sunset, Banzai Pipeline, and Waimea Bay before driving through the rustic Haleiwa Town. Discover the sweet life of growing pineapples at Dole Plantation; enjoy a no-host lunch (cost not included) at the Polynesian Cultural Center as this bustling tour comes to a close.
