With the guidance of a trained naturalist, glide your kayak into the reef-protected inlets of Kailua Bay for spectacular views of the shoreline. Seek out the residence of the native green sea turtles, and relive Hawaiian history through the stories told by your guide. Mingle with lively marine life—triggerfish, carp and honu—while snorkeling in the refreshing turquoise water and exploring the area’s natural pools and wildlife.
After breaking for lunch, take a swim and relax while watching sea birds nest nearby. Venture into quiet coves and natural pools to snorkel, or dive off the poolside rock formations. For an adventure fix, go on to explore either Kailua or Lanikai beaches for snorkeling in a coral garden, surrounded by brilliantly colored tropical fish and friendly turtles.
