Feel the wind in your face as you take off from a boat platform to fly high above the Kona Coast on this thrilling adventure. The definition between the blue skies and the clear waters will be blurred as the parachute takes you higher and higher for views of the Big Island’s vast mountains that hug the coastline. Choose from a variety of flights, depending on if you’re brave enough to go solo or prefer to ride with a loved one.

On your way back down, your captain may playfully dip your toes in the water for a refreshing nip at your feet. You’ll taste the sea salt on your lips and the warmth of the sun during this delightful viewing of the Pacific Ocean and its beautiful shores.

Standard Ride

Deluxe Ride

• Up to 800 feet (244 m) of line
• 10-minute ride (longer for tandem, triple)

Out of This World Ride

• Up to 1,200 feet (366 m) of line
• 10-minute ride (longer for tandem, triple)

Departure time and location

Several departures daily; from the Kailua Pier in Kona

Accessibility information

Participants must be able to walk down the dock and transfer to the parasail vessel with minimal or no assistance. Boats are not wheelchair accessible.

Participant restrictions

Children 2 and younger may not participate.  Those with recent injuries (including neck and back), and women who are pregnant or believe they may be pregnant may not participate. Children 17 and younger must have an adult guardian onboard either as another flyer or as a paying observer.

Participants must weigh at least 130 pounds (59 kg) in order to fly alone. If you weigh less than 130 pounds (59 kg) you must fly with someone else (i.e., Two children 65-pounds (29.4 kg) each may fly together). However, tandem flights are priced per person. Tandem flights are restricted to a maximum weight of 450 pounds (204 kg) combined weight. Due to fluctuations in participant weights and wind and sea conditions, some tandems may need to fly separately and some singles may need to fly tandem.
