Sink your paddle into the crystal-clear waters off the Kohala Coast for 30 minutes of kayaking, where the coastline is dotted with stunning resorts. If you look closely, tropical fish play beneath the surf, darting in and out of naturally formed coral reefs. Upon arrival at the first snorkeling site, slide into the water for a swim with green sea turtles and colorful reef fish.
First-time snorkelers may listen in on instruction for professional snorkeling advice before venturing out on their own for practice. Be sure to bring a waterproof camera as the water visibility is ideal for snapping underwater photos. Adventurous swimmers may want to try the challenge of swimming through the underwater sea arches about 10 feet (3 m) below the surface. After an hour or so of swimming and snorkeling, break for a quick snack and sunshine time before heading to a second snorkeling site where glittering waters await.
