This 3-hour guided exploration teaches you the ins and outs of chocolate production, from branch to bar. Your tour begins with a stroll through the picturesque Steelgrass gardens, winding along groves of rare black bamboo, tropical flowers, and exotic fruit trees. After tasting in-season fruit, head to the chocolate orchard, home to chocolate trees at all stages of growth. Take a seat inside the chocolate-tasting tent and watch a demonstration on how to process raw cacao—first into nibs, and then into finished chocolate. Next, it's time to put your palate to the test: Participate in an 11-course dark-chocolate tasting.
